mDJr is a 21-year old artist/producer from New Haven, CT who has made his presence known in multiple genres. 

In his early music career, he played guitar and drums and sang for various pop/rock bands. With a great desire to be able to single-handedly put out records of any genre he pleased, mDJr delved into multi-genre music production and mixing/mastering with nothing holding him back!

After a few years of production experience with genres ranging from Dancehall to Hip-Hop to EDM, he ultimately decided to take on a Pop / Hip-Hop sound that is sure to grab the attention of modern day listeners! His music can be compared to the likes of Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Sage The Gemini, and Tyga with a production sound that’s currently extremely popular in Southern California.

Wow.  If you have yet to hear the emotive sounds from this modern savior of the blues, then you’re in for a treat.  Gary Clark Jr.’s “Bright Lights” showcases the power of the blues with a heavy sound and modern soul.  Jimi Hendrix wisely noted that “The blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.”  Gary shows what it means to feel the blues, which may be a reason he draws so much comparison to Hendrix.  Make sure to check out his other tracks too, as he explores other genres with just as much musicianship and soul as “Bright Lights.”

This New York Producer starts the song out nice and subtle, then slams the beat in your face making it hard to keep your head still. I can picture Kanye West licensing this track for his his next Daft Punk like Remix.

This instrumental takes you on a ride and keeps the listener engaged the whole time.
